au\u00a0gouvernement du\u00a0Qu\u00e9bec un\u00a0trajet qui permettrait d\u2019atteindre le\u00a0Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean en\u00a0ligne droite, en\u00a0traversant les Laurentides. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0\u00a0lui, la\u00a0construction d\u2019une voie ferr\u00e9e sortira le\u00a0Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean de\u00a0son isolement et\u00a0par le\u00a0fait m\u00eame donnera acc\u00e8s aux for\u00eats et\u00a0lacs de\u00a0la\u00a0Mauricie.<\/p>\n<p>Le\u00a0tron\u00e7on reliant Saint-Raymond \u00e0\u00a0Roberval en\u00a0passant par le\u00a0Lac-\u00c9douard est la\u00a0premi\u00e8re ligne de\u00a0train \u00e0\u00a0voir le\u00a0jour. Fait de\u00a0bois d\u2019\u00e9rable recouvert d\u2019une lisse en\u00a0m\u00e9tal, le\u00a0chemin de\u00a0fer connait un\u00a0d\u00e9part difficile avant de\u00a0reprendre du\u00a0service en\u00a01885 gr\u00e2ce aux subventions gouvernementales.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1148b18 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1148b18\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Les pionniers<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a7a9f4d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a7a9f4d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La\u00a0gare de\u00a0Lake Edward\u00a0occupe une place importante dans l\u2019histoire de\u00a0la\u00a0Haute-Mauricie. D\u00e8s 1886, de riches sportifs am\u00e9ricains, attir\u00e9s ici par la qualit\u00e9 de la p\u00eache, sont nombreux \u00e0 fr\u00e9quenter ses quais d\u2019embarquement. Il\u00a0faudra toutefois attendre jusqu\u2019en\u00a01907 pour que la\u00a0liaison Qu\u00e9bec-Lac-Saint-Jean soit enfin compl\u00e9t\u00e9e. Sur l\u2019autre trac\u00e9, d\u00e8s 1910, les premiers pionniers du secteur de Parent s\u2019installent sur les lieux de la construction du chemin de fer transcontinental qui reliera La Tuque \u00e0 Senneterre.
